erwin's probably dead and if he's not then that's just poor writing because he should've died ages ago.
erwin already lived his life while armin is barely starting his and did you forget when erwin said that armin's important? if erwin can see past armin's weak physique and value his brains then why can't you? armin doesn't necessarily need to be a titan that kicks ass, he can just be turned into one to save his life and share the info he got.
eren has suffered jfc, his mom got killed, and then there's the ordeal with his dad, then hannes died, and now this with armin. eren has suffered.
you don't think he's meant to die yet or you don't want him to die, there's a difference between the two.
First off Wow your acting like i'm hating on Armin, just because I said he was weak. He is WEAK, i'm sorry to break it to you but I in no way said he deserved to die, heck a lot of them don't need to die but in this manga they sadly do. Also How is it poor Writing if Erwin Lives?? He still has a possibility of surviving just as much as Armin does. Also just because Erwin is older means he needs to die?? Armin wouldn't be the first young person to die in the manga. Also I already stated that Eren has Suffered you don't need to repoint that fact out to me, I only said that since Eren in the last few chapters hasn't really been helping I'm thinking that Armin getting hurt or his possible demise will prompt Eren to the next level of Titan Awesomeness. Also just because you don't think Erwin has any more purpose doesn't mean that it is true. Frankly Erwin is my favorite character and I obviously think differently, also as with the previous chapter so does Levi. I see a lot of foreshadowing and one of those foreshadowing points was Levi stating only one person could have the serum and all he thinks of is Erwin, Plus it has not fully shown Erwin dead yet. Each of us have our own opinions and each of us have different favorite characters, so overall my thoughts and feelings on it are as valid as yours are. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

it is poor writing because it doesn't make sense to kill a main who's just starting to get proper development when erwin's been physically useless since he's lost his arm and has been at death's door for such a long time now, it's as almost as kishimoto's poor writing when killing neji off.
i know armin's not as physically capable as the rest but he has his wits to make up for that.

Wow I just saw some of the raws and.......I'm so sorry to all the fans of Armin......I'm still hoping on Erwin getting the Titan Serum and Levi pulling through like always with being just awesome and kicking all those titans butts to get to Erwin. Even if Armin isn't yeah no...already gone Erwin would still be the best candidate for the serum. Armin is smart and Courageous hell yeah he is BUT he has always been the weakest out of the group physically and let's face it they need a strong person to take the serum. Not to mention guys let's all remember about Eren, he is a Tragic Hero and all Tragic hero's suffer and suffer and suffer. What would be worse than losing one of his dearest childhood friends. Like with thinking of Revenge for his Mother this would possibly make Eren unlock yet another titan ability in his grief and rage. As for Erwin I don't think he's meant to die yet, but he will die eventually by the hands of LEVI. Even though at the time when Levi threatened to kill Erwin along time ago it was due to the circumstances he in the years following developed respect and positive feelings for the commander, however he is sworn to wipe out all titans like he PROMISED the commander and said so even in the previous chapters. I Feel Erwin would Command Levi to wipe him out as well in the end. Damn.......I Depress myself further with my thoughts.
