So I read the novel cause my stupid self couldn't handle the cliffhanger and I'm not disappointed in my decision.

So, our sei does get assaulted (not sexually, just physical violence). it's the first time that he had been a victim of physical bullying. It was heartbreaking to read this because he thought that knights are supposed to protect people┗( T﹏T )┛. (it was that 2 bastards from the 3rd order who always come to make a fuss in the accounting department and that saint guard guy who accused sei of being a stalker= basically 3 bastards who deserve to die)

The prime minister guy forgot to give sei some documents so he goes looking for him after only a few mins. But instead of finding a chronically fatigued sei, he finds him bruised and injured, lying on a pool of his own blood.

He immediately takes him to the health department where that guy (Health department's director forgot his name) takes sei and applies first aid which does not require magic. Obviously the prime minister asks him why he is not treating sei, but I think the Q guy was too nervous so he didn't answer the PM. The Pm thinks he's discriminating against sei and was going to take him to another healer when BOOM ARESH SLAMS THE DOOR OPEN.

He obviously treats our sei then proceeds with the snu snu time for the magic intoxication. 2 hours pass and the Pm and Q guy enter again though the Q guy knew exactly what they were doing (he's described as shameless in this part). Aresh was pissed and interrogated sei for the culprits. Our Mc is so smart he figured out the assailants with only their voices and even gather evidence!

Then the next day, our dear, glorious and mighty ML asks the two guys from his order to come to his office. They get busted with only questioning and a bit of evidence (Our sei actually tore a piece of the uniform's trousers from one of the knights, it was used as evidence). The punishment was 1 week home arrest, never bothering sei again, monetary compensation for the damage and a deduction of salary for a year.

Our sei was so practical and thoughtful when he decided the punishment. He told one week was enough for others to know they got in trouble and that the time they spent at home is much more useful when they spend it on their job. He also took monetary compensation only because he wanted to repay Aresh for his magic treatments. (he legit thought 'position? honour? dignity?they are useless for me. their only worth is their money.' when he made the punishment AND safe to say that Aresh accepted the money after much persuasion from sei at the restaurant they frequent for dinner.)

Sei also requested for the expedition to be moved forward since the more they delay the more money is wasted. The expedition arc is where Aresh confesses and our MC is troubled but has no choice but to give in to this smug child (no they did not start dating, he just gave in and postponed the problem for now because he will die without Aresh treating him).

The expedition arc has a lot more details and stuff. And Aresh confesses when they were one night away from returning to the royal palace. So you can say the end of that arc? Anyways I didn't write the whole arc cause my hands are sore. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
