Fr like thinking you're protecting someone by hiding from them the atrocities their loved ones have committed (against them might I add) is not only plain stupid but actually cruel, bc what makes you think that they'll be safe from being hurt again.
If I were her I'd break ties with Alek for the simple fact that he hid the fact that the thugs that almost raped her were hired by her husband. Like what makes you think that he wouldn't try some BS like that again or actually rape her himself? Utter moron.
Nope. Nope. Nope. The more I think about this, the more I am pissed off!
First off, what Jeff felt for Luann was NOT love, it was OBSESSION. Had he TRULY loved her, he would NOT have hired a bunch of nameless goons to attack her, so he could be the "hero." He also showed complete lack of guilt over what he did, including getting drunk, while knowing she would be attacked, and LAUGHING and BRAGGING about being the "HERO." As well as being completely blasé about his proposal, AGAIN, without a SHRED of guilt. The man was a PSYCHOPATH. He only felt bad when he realized he had LOST and even then, he would rather kill himself than face the music. And that bit about having Alek take care of Fred? Betting he did that as PUNISHMENT. I have no doubt in my mind that he HONESTLY THOUGHT he was punishing Alek by having him have to take care of his own kid the way he took care of Alek's. PSYCOPATH.
And the fact that Alek KNEW that Jeff had set Luann up to be attacked, but didn't TELL HER, because he thought she loved Jeff, makes him almost as bad! He KNEW what Jeff had done, but left her in the care of that Psycho because, well, "looooovvvvvveeee!"
The ONLY reason I am willing to give him ANY kind of pass is because he didn't know what healthy love should be, so he may truly have thought those kinds of "games" were normal. And because he did actually save her and was an otherwise decent character.
But Jeff? He deserves to ROT IN HELL.
