I can honestly understand why Seth is so hell bent on keeping his rape a secret. A lot male rape victims no longer see themselves as a man afterwards (this is true in real life too) and I can assume that as a god, Seth’s pride would be more important than anything; he’d be disgraced if this is came to light. Isis, I just don’t know anymore. In a way I can KINDA understand her hatred and resentment towards Seth, but she’s also being a hypocrite by letting the actions of her husband be kept secret.

Like many companions whose husband is a rapist, they are more willing to blame the victim and deter their hatred to them than to their husband. It is the anger part of the 5 step of grievance and acceptation by the way. Where you feel anger, but you sometimes deter it at a source that is more convenient to you until you can process it. Which is utterly awful for the recipient of that hatred when they have done nothing wrong.
