I haven’t really seen anyone else talk about it but I really did not like how the uke kept treating the seme around chapter 3 — I just wanted to throw my phone to the wall, he was being so rude and frustrating. he never wanted to listen to him, he kept running away from him, wouldn’t communicate, anytime the seme tried the uke would just act like he knew the seme’s feelings better than the seme even did and say he wasn’t taking it seriously. like the seme clearly has a hard life and the uke has always encouraged him to rebel and do what he really wants but then the seme finally tells him what he really wants and then the uke does a similar thing the parents do where they essentially decide for him and take the decision away. and the seme was so kind and patient through it all. just kept breaking my heart how he kept turning him away and then broke up with him, called him annoying etc.
and before anyone tells me “the uke was just trying to push him away bc he didn’t want the seme to make a rash decision or regret being with him in the future or blame him for not going to tokyo” cause uh... you think I don’t already realize that? lol of course I do. him being scared doesn’t justify him deciding and disregarding the seme’s feelings — the same thing he would often shame the seme’s parents for.
idk.. it’s just I feel like we see shitty semes do crap things to ukes all the time to break their hearts and ppl have no problem calling them out .. rightfully so. but I never really see ppl call out ukes whenever they treat nice semes like shit. :/
