no, Toji was just born like that, zero cursed energy while Maki and Mai was unluckily born as monozygotic twin, it should've been just one individual who should be born but Maki has Mai and both of their CE and Physical strength was splitted into both of them, Mai figured it out that's why she needed to go with Maki's remaining cursed energy, for Maki to be just like Toji with 0 CE
So does this mean Toji must’ve had a similar tragic to become strong? He didnt sourced energy and was solely strong physical wise. We didn’t really get his background before he died
