I think its because it shine in front of him and as you know Cale's hair is read so that's maybe why, the shield is still Silver of course its just because it shine directly at Cale's hair and face that it makes it looks like pink.... This is just my opinion to be honest
In the novel its said the shield and glow of it is silver... why does it look it pink?
