i mean what she does in the upcoming chpts is outrageously cruel cause it targets way more than just the prince. but her hatred of the prince himself is pretty legit? i mean we dont know why he did it yet but he DID murder her BOTH sons and only children. now cause he's the male lead, we can assume that he had a good reason but also its worth noting he didnt kill full grown adult men, they were still kids at the time (im not sure if they were like LITTLE kids or more like teenage, he himself was seemingly very young when he did the killing, so my guess he was in his late teens the and boys were maybe tweens/preteen age. but thats all speculation, because the story needs to be acceptable for minors to read, we have never seen their murdered bodies or even heads, but enough has been implied using non graphic imagery to show that he not only killed them but showed their severed heads to their MOTHER afterwards. causing her to essentially have a mental break. i think there's enough info about her to show that she was never a Good person, but her pursuit of vengeance isnt for nothing/just spite is all im saying.
