Still not a valid reason to look down on others and neglecting her duty as the saintess, it is because her personality is selfish and let say overly entitled B. And I've read the novel, and she's indeed an headache of character, even when she realized how important her role was and how dangerous the situation is, she still act like that.

Let me tell you this, yeah she shouldnt look down on others and neglect her duty, but lets be honest here, she's just a immature high schooler that hasn't been properly taught how to be a responsible adult yet. And because of this, her lack of knowledge of morality and sense of responsibility is shit, meaning she doesnt know any better and we really cant blame her on that. But it also doesnt mean that we can excuse her behavior, she has to learn from it. [Also im not sure if it made any sense since english is my 2nd language.]

Never said it was a valid reason. But kids turn out like their parents make them most of the time. Kids rarely intuit how to be decent people, they need guidance and good examples. She obviously never had any.

I wouldnt kids would become like they're parents since everyone is different and have different opinions, but I do agree on the influence from the adults does a big impact in kids life

Oh no no, she have a great teacher, who put his best to make her learn, a lot of people put a lot of hope on her, but she still feeling entitled to the end, and she already on the situation when she will never comeback to her original world, thats why i said theres no point on saying she just a kid, and defend her personality as being a kid, just imagine letting a lot of people dying and just tell "ah she just a kid let her be" when she already living on that world for months, even animal will adapt to their new environment.

Sorry but later when she realized about the overrall situation she just acknowledge the situation, but her personality still the same, the thing is she already on the point of no return, she cant comeback to her original world, she's given a role in the kingdom, and she has the power as well, and she already living there for months, and have a great mentor who actually trying his best to make her learn, in reality someone who is given so many task usually got stressed no mater how old they are, but the girls just never taking anything seriously, she think she so important and entitled to everything, never used her entitlement for the better, no reason for an high school kids to act childish when japan school system are so strict, so defending her personality as just being a kid is doesnt sit well for her behavior, if you have a 16-18yo kids who burn your house will you let it go because they just a kid?
