Contracts aren't really used in real life and they're more of a warning sign anyways (unless signing the contract itself is part of a play). Also, safe words aren't nearly as common as people think. They're only necessary if acting as if you don't want it is part of the play. A normal "no" or "stop" usually is enough.
Oh i got the BDSM contracts from this book where the sub got paid to work at some club and it was actually rather heavy not like knife play heavy but not fifty shades of grey light so i honestly thought it was normal. Also random comment but was I the only one who felt like 50 shades of grey was extremely unemotional.
