I wouldn’t call him toxic. He is just oblivious and ignorant of his wife’s situation. And until someone forces him to see her perspective he won’t. I am not excusing his behavior and neglectance, but he is not a bad person. He just needs to realize his mistakes bc I am pretty sure he would change them
