Oof sorry your comment was the first one i saw and i only read the comments about other people hating her for crying. I agree with you that it does hurt and it's normal to cry. But I guess the other commenters are already biased because we know that she's the one who's responsible for Tia's kidnapping :(
I disagree. Even when she first saw the duke after he returned married, she threw herself into his arms. Then, he showed tenderness to his wife and she glared daggers at her. That is not cute behavior. I get having a crush, but marriage means they are off the market. I haven't read any spoilers but I know she is going to take it wayyyy too far.
+2 Isn't it good to keep your friends close but, keep your enemies closer?
Aubrey short temper and over emotional self seems like a perfect target to be taken advantaged of if not corrected. Keeping a close eye on a unpredictable factor is good. Although crude, showing MCxMLs affection is a quick way to shatter Aubrey's hopes. Besides why hide it? MC and ML are living at the same place and there intimate actions will be bound to be seen; possibly even more in the future news. Aubrey need to learn her position as well as rein in her hostility and feelings. I for one, wouldn't reciprocate Aubrey's blatant hostility with kindness. Plus being a lady in waiting is an honourable position.
I understand that Aubrey's feelings would be hurt seeing her love with someone else but, to be honest why should the MC be considerate? Aubrey is just stranger who works for the duke's estate. Will the couple have to hide their intimacy just for the sake of the other admires of the duke? From another perspective doesn't the MC as the wife, have the right to show her affection in her own residence? Aubrey's unrequited feelings are actually more problematic. Even after knowing about the marriage, she still holds onto her feelings and curses the wife. Pursuing a married person is wrong.
I really don't hold positive feelings for Aubrey because compared to being abused since child hood and living a life worse than death, an unrequited love in this story feels like childs' play. Although I agree that calling Aubrey a b*tch might be a bit strong, since she hasn't committed any terrible crimes. Aubrey's just been spoiled and I can't say that I'm foreign to jealously. To be honest, MC's mom deserves that title a lot more cause of her child abuse.
Seriously, stop it. If you were in her shoes, you'd cry too. She just stand in front of the man she's always loved, who acted lovey-dovey with another woman — I know the MC is his wife, but that's not the point here.
You can't call her a bitch and say she deserves to cry just because she has a one-sided love. If I were in her situation, I would cry too and feel miserable like heck.
I know she'll certainly do jerk things to the MC, and when she'll do we can say that she's an asshole. But not when shy crying because the man she loves doesn't love her back #-.-)
I'm sure if the brown lady where the heroine, you'd be cheering for her. But noooo, since she's a ""rival"" (idk how to define her role), she's automatically a bitch.
Shame on you people. Be more empathetic ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
