Do you know what grooming is? He did not groom her, or force her to do anything she wasn't comfortable with. He didn't touch her in anyway she didn't consent to.
I mean grooming doesn’t have to be physical it can be emotional influence considering he’s know her since she was young and he won’t rly let her run solo, like following her to hs. Although it’s a cute story I do believe it is a form of grooming but that’s just my opinion.
look up grooming since you obviously dont know the difference between that and sexual assualt.
