That's true.. Tho his early death was what made the ending so painful. ╥﹏╥ I too miss Eren. Eren's death left me feeling empty and heartbroken. I was really hoping to see him one last time, but I guess that won't be happening.
i hope when Togashi resumes HXH again , he won't do as Isayama ( attack on titan) nor likeAkutami Gege ( jusjutsu Kaisen) or Gotouge Koyoharu ( kisemtsu no yaiba), there is nothing worng with letting the MC's alive ALL OF THEM, and it doesn't degrade the quality of the story
I wholeheartedly agree with you. I respect the author's decision, but killing off the MC is unnecessary. :/
As for HxH, I think I read somewhere something might happen to Kurapika. I hope that isn't true, and I also hope Togashi doesn't kill off any of the characters. I'd be too heartbroken if something were to happen to them. I don't think I'd be able to move on from that heartache. ಥ_ಥ

I was finally starting to warm up to the ending we originally had. Yes, it was devastating and I'm still crying to this day, but I still felt the ending was somewhat fitting. Now I'm just left feeling mega depressed and heavily confused. ಥ‿ಥ
