IFKR. I don't understand why people are whining that it made the story worse? It was actually such a beautiful and realistic ending showcasing the human greed and selfishness.

Exactly! how many terrible wars have we been through but for some reason, we do it again and again? We forget the pain of our ancestors and just subjugate ourselves to the same agony.

Exactly! Some of them want some fluffy ass happily ever after ending but this is Isayama yo. He keeps it more to the realistic side.
I couldn't be happier with the ending to be honest. It was too good.

I agree, this was an amazing story, from start to finish.

same. i felt iffy after 139 but this chapter is kinda like the cherry on top.
