It’s not like u can just make the trauma go away especially with what happened to him do u expect r*ape victims or any victims to forget what happened to them and there’s also the family he grew up in which is the main reason he doesn’t try to get close with Blanche
That's literally how he cope with the trauma though.. Like what women like to say: Yes, not all men rape, but we don't know who might so we are cautious. He's just doing the same.

Sure there is a little bit of understanding of him cuz of his trauma but just because he has that doesn't mean it's an excuse for his mf attitude and ego
