I'm glad someone is saying it. White Europeans did exactly what these characters did. They would use enslaved black people as props to show their prosperity in Europe. This story was fucked from every perspective.

ok but why did all of them end up with a colonizer?? i read this awhile back and some parts were cute but i always felt a little bit uncomfortable reading these kinds of stories. came back to check the comments and im glad im not the only one feeling this way. and that one couple was weird af (u know who im talking about)
