ok lets forget about his past bullshits because he doesn’t have memories of such things..
but you‘re just gonna ignore his behaviour from the wedding day til the last chapters? is that just because it‘s not the framing & head chopping the whole family situation yet?

Ok here's my thoughts in comparison to Abandoned Empress. In AE the character had multiple MLs and chances to change her fate (for years) but she chose him. In this one there's only one ML and the FL's second life starts at the time where she has to choose whether to send her sister off to be a queen candidate or herself (her options were super limited). Knowing her sister may fall in love again she makes the decision to become his wife. And she hasn't forgiven him and is making him suffer a lot. But she also knows all of his trauma and stuff and who the 'real villain' is so she doesn't fully hate him. Also, the one who got hurt the most by him was the FL's sister who now is living a much happier life
Now the ML has no memories of the past life. And he really did believe Rose (I forgot her name) was in love with him and had his best interest at heart because they bonded over their trauma. But he came to realize that Rose(?) wasn't the person who he thought she was and that the empress was the one for him. And while he knows he did a bunch of despicable stuff he's working hard for forgiveness. Not saying he's the greatest ML candidate but he's the only one we got

im not excusing what he has done so far, but a major part of her dislike of him was bc of the accusation and slaughtering her whole family, yes she def should be mad abt what has happened so far but he also doesnt need to be forgiven for domething he hasnt even done in this timeline
