There was this one too, which follows a now soldier/prisoners relationship in a concentration camp (the non uniformed soldier flashbacks make it seem like the new each other outwith the camp?). It ends with the camp being liberated by U.S troops who rough up the nazi's. The prisoner (Jerzy) sees his soldier in a state and walks over to him, picking up his fallen hat and returning it to the soldiers head in order to restore his dignity. The last scene with them shows that they kissed then both committed suicide using the electric fence whilst holding on to each other. It's very short though. Context, as well is that LGBT prisoners were often treated the worst within camps and after wwII not just in Germany, but Europe as a whole discrimination was still an epidemic. So the prisoner was in a sense more "fortunate" than many others who were in the camps for being gay as they were often subject to the most physical labour as well as medical experiments which left many people after liberation, if they survived with zero quality of life. Before the Nazi party came to power, Germany was quite liberal when it came to LGBT equality and many, prominent party members were gay. This was against party policy though, so if such high ranking officials could be killed for their orientation, the soldier in the camp had little chance of surviving within his party if found out, and within a country and continent as a whole where prison terms, and forced hospital stays as well as abuse was routine long after they decided to end their lives together. It's a tragedy comic but too short to really get into the ethics and emotions of such a taboo, and then criminal pairing.

So beautiful yet sad..I love yaoi stories that using war theme like this..
