Stop freaking out about Mangago. The site isn’t going anywhere. Illegal sites are able to operate by using offshores servers in countries with DCMA protections. YD can send as many DCMA notices as they want but if the server policy is to ignore DCMA notices (as one would look for when hosting this type of website) it’s all wasted effort on their part and will never reach the site owners to begin with. Site info is all fully protected and YD would have to take it to the host country’s courts to get the identity of the site owners to further proceed which is never going to happen as these servers are able to exist in such countries bc of their insane privacy protections to begin with. To say nothing of the fact that no idiot would use anything other than Bitcoin for payment running an illegal site to stay truly anonymous. So even if a court order were issued they don’t ever have to worry about these issues. If you really care show some sympathy for all the fan translators whose translations and labor you’ve been enjoying for free who are now being hunted and legally threatened by this author without any of the legal protections of this site. They’re doxxing individuals on Twitter and it’s all very gross. If you support what this author is doing don’t ever read a fan translation again. But by all means keep needlessly reporting.
