Well they indeed became good friends. They hang out together and even watch togethers back. But the guys whole family was pressuring him not to mention his mom was kinda murdered (His Flashback hasn't been shown yet tho but the hint says it all) and he's also kinda jealous of the mc becuz he's always in 2nd place.
