If dan-i said something i bet they wouldn't even listen. Its disgusting how they even brought that up when they were the one's who believed those baseless rumors. If they know they did something wrong they should apologize first.
Right like I think it would be cool if she said something but they always have something to say back and some way to twist it around which is why she was like it doesn’t matter what we say
I love the story and everything but so far (from where I am in the novel) I've never seen Dan-I stand up for herself.
She's not weak, that's for sure. It's just that rather than dealing with those trouble, she'd rather stay quiet. There's another reason but I think that'll count as a spoiler(?),,,, kinda???
ok now, this is my personal opinion but i too wished that the protagonist would say something. i know that in these situations it's best to let it go otherwise it would become worse but even so i would have liked if she told something to the girls bulling her. it's always her friends that stand up for her and that's amaizing but i want her to tell the bullies to shut the hell up just like Penelope form "Death is the only ending for the villainess" when her brother and her were in the attic (i had chills reading that scene).
i like the story and her personality (she is funny) but if she learns to talk back a little she would be perfect.
