Okay but Granoir's are really stupid wtf. You're in the middle of a war and there's arrows everywhere and lots of fighting...you see an injured bird on the ground and you stop fighting TO STAB IT?!?! and to make it worse they just thought it was a random bird!! How can you be that dumb and still be winning this war

The events are a bit weird but in real wars, sometimes killing a bird carrying a message is prioritized over killing a soldier because communication can determine who wins and who loses a war. But in this situation, I don't know if the guy even knew she was carrying a message so...

Well if we take your knowledge forward then I guess that even though he didn't know if she was carrying a message, she is still a bird and is near a battle so I think they weren't taking any chances when they saw her.

Maybe they're just being cautious of birds. Maybe there's a bird that can be trained to hide the message so they kill birds near..? not sure tho

yeah like i could kinda get it if they thought it was a messenger bird (though it's overkill to use a long sword when u can just use your hands) but they said that they didn't know bc of the mud ands stuff covering the bird

i thought that at first (they didn't need to use their swords tho for a bird that small lmao) but then it was said that bc the bird was covered in mud and injured they didn't know it was a messenger bird..they just thought it was a regular bird.
