She broke up with her gf in high school and later, when she was feeling miserable she used the woman again.
She could have restrained herself and resolved her feelings but she messed up, again, with someone.
Her ex shouldn't take her back or forgive her. She acted like shit and made her ex feels like a shit too
I agree that she acted badly and hurt her gf multiple times. I'd totally understand if she decides not to get back with her.
But still, she did it because she was scared. Homophobia is the real issue here, not her.

People can deal with their internalized issues and don't hurt others like that.
