Had to google this after the scene but apparently like chickens turtles lay unfertilized eggs once a year. Probably just Fushi's "time". I was hoping for something more to come from it like him being disappointed that the eggs wouldn't hatch or something but they kinda just dropped it.
Yeah I don't know what that was about... like if any turtles are born from it they'll just be the biological children of the turtle he copied anyway, but it's not the season for it so they'll probablyjust stay unfertilized. Just don't know why the scene was there.
