I thought I lacks sympathy but I felt no sympathy for him. I was so confused why he didn't anything and just watch her die even though he have more than enough power, I get it that he was in their control and didn't have enough strenth to fight back but after that? And the look he gave her when that black haired bitch visited her? It was an expression of nonchalant and indifference person slowly watching his wife dying. Sorry dude, I am not cheering but rathee really hoped that she divorce him and lives somewhere else with elle. Like anywhere, out of that mf place and out of his sight, lives a happy life, raising and just enjoying their without that mf
I thought the same exact thing. The only thing I can think about is how he said the using the dad was a double edged sword so I’m guessing the dad could easily give him power and take it away??? But tbh I don’t think that makes much sense.

okay like. i get that he was in a financially/politically unstable time and needed fl’s dad’s help, but once he secured his position why didn’t he literally just. do what he just did. say no to the fl’s dad once he had a stable position. tbh i don’t really feel that much sympathy. i get that he was younger and didn’t know what he does now etc. but i do think that most of his actions are stemming from guilt, not actual love. if elle hadn’t locked his dad away like how reina was locked away, there’s no way he would’ve truly realized how shitty he was to her.
