Can someone please explain to me if the in their rebirth jis brother still raped him or did he stop? Because he said " I'm afraid that if I let the beast go (or smth which means unleash the beash or whatever that's what I understood if i remember correctly) brother will hate me (or smth like that, you get the idea), So I understood that in this life he wasn't raped by his brother? Plus, when he was asked if he had done it before, he said he knew it was hard (while remembering flashbacks of being raped by the emperor in his last life and not his brother in this life)) ? I'M afrais to know the truth but I still need to know

The brother raped him in current lifetime too, before he was sent into the labor camp, no question about it. There are mistranslations in the specific chapter where it happened, but if you look at the picture carefully, you'll see that the brother pinned him down & violated him from behind, to the point he broke his arm in the struggle (the same happened in the previous life). The brother was saying something like "a beast who had finally tasted the prey he had been lusting for all this time, cannot go back to become a human again". So there you go, more confirmation that the deed was done.

Yeah, now that you say that I see what happened. That's so sad, I wished since he was not raped in this life by the emperor, that maybe he wasn't raped by his brother too and that his fate had somehow changed in these two happenings. But I guess that had to happen for him to meet the emperor again in the first place.

    Thank you for the explanation.

I think the author purposefully made the outcome to be this way, so the readers can make comparisons between the emperor & the brother. Both claimed that they loved him, & both initially made the same mistakes of forcing themselves upon him, hoping that with domination, came unconditional submission, & maybe eventually, something that resembled love that they had wished for. But when the end result was a tragedy in the first life, both men had the chance to learn from that experience, & perhaps, do better in the second life, which wasn't easy given they had no past memory in the beginning. But now we see the contrast in the second life, one man did slowly learn how to cherish the one he loved in the efforts to break the karmic cycle, while the other committed the same atrocity that would lead to history repeating itself. It's quite subtle, but the message is there. That's my take on it, anyway. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Yes! the way you put it makes it look much more beautiful in a way. I share the same opinion, loving someone is putting their best interest before one's self. The emperor learned that at the end of his first life and vowed never to repeat the same mistakes again. And in a way, he did! (Thank god he remembered lol) and the brother didn't tho we still have to see if the brother was also reborn or not, maybe he'll later remember his past life and we'll see if that will change him for the better like it did with the emperor l, or on the contrary, make him worst!
