okay so basically arjen becomes irrelevant to the story and arien becomes the mc and it focuses solely on her. arjen will basically give all of his power to arien to protect her and because of that he loses his connection with jason which is infuriating because he really loved his powers and was so connected with jason. but because of this arien will grow up to be like super op and arjen will become a knight but we rarely see arjen he’s been forced out of the spotlight. he takes a backseat to a character that isn’t even that likeable in the first place like arien’s character is so flat and boring it’s ridiculous. like there’s nothing about her character that makes me go “she’s a great character”
