I think I heard about the first one.idk it's name but I remember the criticism that the gf was innocent and the mC didn't really care after he learned the truth. Honestly I'm interested in it mainly for the poor gf.
As for cheating, tbh I havent seen it. There is a vengeance trope where the mc was horribly wronged and cheating falls under it. So rather than it being new it is a new take on the established vengeance trope. Unless the MC is the cheater, whi h is news to me.
Yes! I fucking hate the 'fanservice'. All it does is weakens the story and makes me ashamed to like anime/manga.
Is there a trend with cheating now?
I've noticed a trend with affairs in recent mangas turned animes especially revolving around fantasy worlds. This is the 2nd manga i've some across this week with cheating involved, the first was with a hero who kicks a Main character out of his party, steals his gf by controlling her as well as the other party members who are girls. Then with no guys in the party he proceeds to bang non stop.
There's the manga turned anime where the father of the main character cheats on his wife with the maid. Not to mention, Redo of Healer is probably the worst case of a sexually charged fantasy story.
