I know what you mean and I guess that most women would react like that. Especially her with an outgoing personality. I just wanted to say that there is a possibility that she was caught by surprise.
Also there are some people, me included, who have a problem with saying no. Sometimes although you don’t want something, you would still just get along with it...can’t really explain why
