I completely agree, it makes the story more interesting and just more suspense because I love character development, like we all know at first this is what happens but as the story develops, the guy will change and see love differently and eventually want to be in a relationship with dojun.

I know this is bad and that the doctor is toxic and manipulative but I love it like I really do, I love sadistic men in yaoi it’s just something that gets me going and I would never want that in relief but wow his character was so well done
