I don't think doc is lying to him...he really does like him or he'd have ghosted him after that one night stand. He thought he was attracted to dojun's body and wanted to get another alpha under him BUT he actually fell for dojun instead...that is why he took our boys to the family meet and asked him out to dinner. He didn't realize he got mad for his sake until doyun pointed that out. Notice how he calls dojun about doyun's medical stuff instead of their mother like he did at the beginning of the story and also he does actually show up near dojuns office to run into him. Dojun initiated sex the second time, doc didn't seem like he planned any of it and just now when dojun proposed dating, he realized oh i did do all that, I must really like him. I think he's in trouble bc he hasn't had a serious relationship before and I also think dojun is going to draw out real emotion from him. Anyway, that's just my opinion for a diff pov
