Hmm haven't read the harlequin novel so nope I don't know I've read the manhwa raws before I think in thai was it?
You should try reading it, I like it (i got problems) Harlequin is usually just a oneshot manga like josei style the ml are always a jerk (I'm ok with it because I like them) but then they redeem themselves later on but the most annoying part for me is that the fl always forgives so easily!!!!
Wait hahaha I thought you were referring to harlequin and joker kind of novels hahaha... I was like NO! those are actually thick ones (book)... Sorry I get what you mean now. I've read those harlequin mangas before and yeah this manga just happens to be the same. But I don't may be I'm just being a s/m but the chapters with heartbroken moments from the Fl, ML, to the 2nd ML (I believe) because she was thought to be dead was just so satisfying
well I actually like this kind of ml especially in manhua, I find the bad characters kinda refreshing, it gives me the chills when i read it. Also it's really hard to find a ml with jerk characteristics, they always have the same characters plot. I'm not saying it's bad but I find it boring
