no you’re completely right. i really liked this story a lot but the misogyny really disappointed me a lot and made my likeness for it dim down.
For real. First, it's quite obviously fetishizing gay relationships and then there's the misogyny. I really love Mayu's character... hope they give her more character arcs and make her a female lead.
like most sex focused bl's the premise was kinda stupid and the seme was creepy in the beginning, but as the story progressed the characters became more likeable and sweet. i liked the angst too, the artist is really good, they made the angst scenes really hard hitting. would be a bit better if shion was more hung up about what rui said to him though.
what i didn't like is how shion's female body was so sexualized even during moments that aren't supposed to be sexual. it was like watching a michael bay movie: rui and shion are having a heartfelt moment and i'm ogling shion's bussy. good thing i'm bi.
i also don't like how it was completely fine for shion to sleep around in the beginning but when he turned into a girl it suddenly turned into being a slut/bitch, "you don't trust me i don't sleep around with men!!" really sweety? it was fine for you to get your dick wet with girls you didn't even think about as human beings though? i know misogyny is at play and i don't like it. i know the you don't trust me stuff is happening because they have feelings for each other and don't wanna confess, but still... porn authors are rly fucking weird as usual.
