what I'm confused cuz bl genre tags are removed and someone said to me that the author didn't want it to be bl (admit there is SOME bl aspects but still this is psych/horror) but Lezhin advertised it as bl for marketing anyway.
yeah that's how ive heard of it (someone telling me.) i always see that people say that they heard that koogi didn't want this to be labeled as a bl because someone told them but ive never seen someone link where the author actually said it
few comments under this might have some answers. gotta agree that labeling this as bl can give off inaccurate ideas (already did) but I don't give a damn about this unless it's influencing others the wrong way. (this is the first time I actually visited this page after like 3 yrs 'cause I had to comment something about it just now)
The author never said it, actually in an official Q&A she said why she chose BL as a genre for her first published work. Plus, during a comic convention I personally attended, she called KS a BL thriller. Lezhin didn't do anything without Koogi's consent, Koogi chose it to be sold as BL , the rumor she said multiple times she didn't want it, must be definitely debunked
