How can you speak for all Asian families? ^^; I'm Asian, and as a kid I acted like she did too. A lot of kids act like that. It's immature behavior, yes, but that's because as kids some of us don't understand gratitude yet until we mature. You could say kids are annoying in nature unless that kid is a very mature kid. My parents did not overly dote on me either, but they weren't super strict either. Like any other parents, really.

My parents are both Chinese and we live in Indonesia. I have an older brother
1. That is one annoying ass kid.
2. Asian parents never act this way with their annoying ass kids.
3. Asian parents still don't act this way with their non-annoying ass kids.
