I made it halfway through before I gave up.

I just can't read stories with FLs like this. She has two personality traits - crying and being dumb. That's literally all she does. She cries from the first chapter about every single thing. Just looking at the ML is enough to make her cry. She hardly speaks and when she does she's just begging him to stay with her. She has all the personality of a wet cabbage. There's literally a scene where she's sobbing bc they're riding a horse and he's going really fast and she's "s-so s-scared." It's vomit worthy how useless she's been this entire story but I'm supposed to believe he's actually intrigued by her?? I'm sure if I read to the end it'll wind up being explained by some preordained work of God that he was destined to love her blah blah blah. The plot armor of all FLs with no personality. On top of that, she's actively stupid. The only things she told herself not to do, she did. Repeatedly getting close to him, drawing him in, and then when he finally confesses to her, lo and behold it's time to cry again and reject him because she doesn't want to hurt him more in the future lmao. She all but throws herself at this man, then when he goes to kiss her she's a trembling, crying, useless lump... girl, idk what your endgame story here is but you came from the modern world at one point, why are you acting like this over a kiss? It's so unbelievably cringeworthy how she acts at every tiny touch. Forty chapters and barely anything has even happened besides her crying and then they rode a horse together in a competition. That's it. I'm not even mad that the ML here is actually gross and does shit like poisoning and killing his horse while they're riding just to throw them off and injure them so he can have her attention. It's unattractive and slimy, but he's supposed to be the villain so whatever I guess. Honestly, yall gotta set better standards for the stuff on here you call amazing storytelling. This FL is literally a piece of cardboard that cries and the ML is abusively obsessive over her past the point of villainy being an excuse. The author really needs to learn how to give her characters actual personality traits before she tells a story again. Oh, and the art is honestly just ugly. I tried to find it offbeat and pretty. But really, the art makes everyone look ugly.
