true they've known each other longer but tess is old enough to be his kid if he had one, remember he's mentally 30ish and it doesn't sit right with me that he'd be interested in someone so young just because his appearance is the same age as her.
human princess girl better be endgame. tess is soooooooo annoying and she ruining the feel of the story imo. romance in shounen usually doesn't end well but in art case he needs someone who can think and behave fairly maturely. he's mentally in his 30's so being with a girl that is DRASTICALLY younger is gonna make him feel like a pedo.
