I'm just wondering...... a guy whp professes to be in love with a girl sends her away, just like that. Most Harlequin MLs are like that.... in fact , they move on and get together with so many women, or actually hget married... then when they see the ex... they will again declare their never-ending love. I don't get it.
I’d call it forcing the drama. Harlequins gotta have the drama and the authors have to churn the books out like bullets from a machinegun. Unfortunately, that takes a toll when it comes to creating a cohesive and believable plot. One ends up with what’s known as potboilers.
