My mother tongue is Turkish, I live in Belgium, the Dutch part, so I speak Dutch. We have to study French in elementary school, so I know French too. In high school, we have to take German and English classes. I chose to study English and French lit in uni (I'm currently doing my master's degree in translation). I am fluent in everything except in German (I do understand a lot but can't speak it very well)
Japanese- I'm now quiet fluent in it but not really confident abt it
Korean- Same with Japanese
German- Same with Korean
Chinese- I give up after a week or so (?)
France- I only learn the basic and quit it afterwards
Arabic- Same with german
Latin- Same with France
In my opinion, Chinese is the hardest to learn. My mind almost blown and the Duolingo bird keep haunting me to continue learning it *help* ╥﹏╥
Studied Mandarin but I can only remember basic stuffs like lao shi and 1-100 (if I recite it all at once. It's because this is our final exam lol. We count 1-100 for a minute )
I tried studying Korean and Japanese on my own but I failed miserably. My brain can't handle it since I'm in medical course and we have so many things to memorize together. It's nice to learn different language, it's one of my achievement.
Hi... beside english and your native language, what other language have you studied or currently studying? And what is the hardest one for you?
