Yes it was. She was engaged to the doctor whom she loved, but entered an arranged marriage for her family. After she had a child with him, she divorced. She stayed in the capitol to watch over her son, and then left when he got married and his wife wanted her gone. Then she left to the country side where she reunited with the doctor.
