Hmmm I still feel like Shima didn't deserve Daichi's apology. After reading Daichi's side and this story I still think what Shima did was a dick move.

You don't try to get with your co-workers bf and not get called out for that.
It was a dick move to try and use a person's bf to get over another guy and brag about it to that said person. So yeah, imo it's good that apologized
