I mean, that one guy drew a gun and was about to shoot him on the roof, was it just an act or were they trying to see if Jinguuji would transform for him? Seems risky if they knew him dying would cause Jinguuji to go rebel against the family.
I think this was all done by the uncle. Even the seme when he goes to look for sensei goes to talk with his uncle and tells him he's going to kill him. They even react when the learn the father is there so I think the father had nothing to do here.
Maybe they wanted to see on what extent would sensei do for jinjou. Not jinjou to sensei because they know that wolves tend to have 1 life partner. They're loyal compared to humans. I think the test was for sensei ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
