I definitely see what you mean but they'd still be part human and doing experiments on them or killing them for suits (as one of the government looking people said), at least in my opinion, would still be inhumane. It would be a different story if kafka volunteered himself for such experiments but if he doesn't want to, forcing him to do so just doesn't feel right. I do know what you mean of him being an enemy, but I feel that the other people should know by now after he protected them in both Kaiju and human form
Volunteering?..well i respect your opinion. But the world that has been portrayed in this manga is a post apocalyptic era...which There are few common senses that does not apply here. Plus...he is a registered #8 monster that possessed such tremendous power....well yes, those from the same camp as him do believe that he is indeed harmless..but he himself wasnt even sure whett the power he possessed were to be completely under his control. The enemy is a monsters that have intelligence. I know this is just a manga..there is not much logic can be apply here....try putting yourself as a normal human citizen that have to live in fear of that monster...and suddenly a man that can transform into one of them appear right in front of you...so
You make a really good point. We definitely don't know how well he may be able to control his powers or if he might go crazy go stupid in the future. I guess I just seriously feel for him since we are seeing it from his point of view. I can see how people will be frightened by a disguisable Kaiju, but they don't know what we or unit three know. To the readers and his friends who know what kinda person he is and how he feels, experiments would be horrible. But I do see how the people of the story might think its a necessity as they don't know him like the readers do. In their eyes hes basically the same as that one mushroom or whatever creepy dude. It's gotta lot to do with pov. Lmao im also just SUPER attached to kafka's character. (btw it's pleasent having such a nice and calm convo lmao)
considering humanity been fighting a war against these monsters for so long? and there have been monsters disguised as humans before?
doubt anyone that doesnt personally know him would believe hes human, even those that did know him before might doubt his identity
