This Is the sad truth. What if the items break, something is already going on with the mug. He needs to learn and not rely on the items so much, hes exactly like the other dude since he's not using his own talents. If he doesn't learn how to actually write and produce quality books on his own then he's finished.
Actually, I don’t think he’s not learning something. For what I could understand, the previous author is teaching him the methods, but not really getting to much into it, bc as he said “It’s not my Novel anyways, do whatever u want” so is not like he’s not learning anything. The only problem that could occur with some of the items is; not reading that fast or getting ur fatigue going away that easily.
Everything happened so fast that it’s so messy and annoying. First, yes he learned about each item having superpowers but wasn’t really touched on even after seemingly producing so much books... in a short time or at least it seems so with how each segment is not too far from each other. He worked on the game story then worked on another company’s wizard book then worked on two contest pieces while also working with the og company. Like the author could have stretched how it went for each series and how the items helped him. For example, how exactly is the laptop helping him type faster? Like not eveything in the mind is great or completed. I just find it bs that he somehow produce perfect books from his mind (that we don’t even get to understand or see).
Also, if he’s been producing books left and right in a short time, isn’t it very suspicious. The first few chapters kinda showed the doubts. Also as an author, doesn’t he feel shame on relying on the items too much. I found it shameless of him to enter a contest while using the items (at least assumingly since we weren’t shown the leading events to them except for a flashback). All we got was a sob story instead of those developments. At this point I don’t see much difference between the mc and the other guy except for their attitudes. They rely too much on outside help and doesn’t really grow independently...
