What shoujo mean? (￣∇￣")
It's very female-point-of-view, usually directed to teenage girls, but generally pure, idealistic portrayals of human interactions (friendships, romance interests, rivals, etc.) They tend to avoid "heavy" topics such as drugs, booze, graphic/detailed sex info, tragic endings, etc.
