lol yea Furuya is such a monster but I think Eijun is actually as good as Furuya?? I never once think that Furuya is any better, they have their own strong point after all. I was really pissed at coach Ochiai because he seems to favor Furuya a lot and looks down on other members (I don't like how he looks down on Harucchi and Zono back then, but it's good that he changed his mind).
I know right?? Eijun can be really loud but he means well. Even Kanemaru have a soft spot for him (WAMURAAAA). Koushuu and Eijun battery will be hilarious with Eijun yelling and complaning, and Koushuu probably just ignores him (lol somehow I can imagine them together in bullpen and being noisy). Eijun's pitch is never easy to catch, it moves a lot lol it's hilarious that his pitching pretty much mirroring his personality
The thing about Kataoka is that he wants his players to lvl up at the same rate. He wants the team to have an equal level of skill. But it's killing any potential of growth. Ochiai on the other hand is the opposite we already know this from him wanting to carefully carve Furuya to be the ace.
But the thing about Kataoka's method is that it hinders the potential growth on a player. As noble as it is- everyone has different growth rate. So having someone like Ochiai was a really good thing for Seido. He helps players lvl up in skill much quicker since he knows what will suit and help them grow as a player.
I can already see it. Eijun having the Ace number and Furuya becoming the relief pitcher. That is my ideal set up. Eijun being the pillar of support whilst Furuya being the main offence.

I believed it's both. Miyuki's good at acting and he often teases Sawamura like crazy, at the same time, Sawamura's kinda dense XD They make a perfect duo(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Same here, I am also really looking forward to seeing Eijun's improvement, it's amazing that he can control his spins now in order to make the ball goes fast or slow.
their battery is just something oh god it's always amuses me while they work so well on field, but off field, they always bantering. Eijun always reacts strongly to Miyuki's tease, and the latter enjoys it very much haha what a couple why they are so stupidly cute

ITS SO PRECIOUS. He's face looked so proud, the only thing left was for Chris-senpai to stand next to Miyuki and look like proud parents. That cliffhanger made me wanna tear my hair out. BUT we got to see a proud Miyuki so its somewhat good.

haha the new chapter was amazing! I smiled so wide reading it today. Not only we have Koushuu catch for Eijun (yay for their battery!!), we also see how Miyuki looks so proud of Eijun (he always do though *sigh dreamily*). I want to say thanks to Terajima-sensei for this chapter. It brings happiness to me.

I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST ME. Cuz when I was rewatching the series every time Furuya played I fell asleep- quite literally. I thought I was just tired and all. BUT in 35, Miyuki just bluntly says Furuya's pitches are boring. I remember when they first started as a battery Furuya says that Miyuki barely gave him game calls in the first season.

It never cease to amaze me, that look Miyuki gives Sawamura sends my shipper heart on overdrive. LIKE IT FEELS SO CANON. That boy must be stopped or else the amount of fan girls/boys etc will probably die from his fondness for Sawamura.
Reading this manga required great patience and anger management. I wish I could hit that certain egoistical and anoyying someone. I never realized I could hate someone as much as him. Oh my.... even if Sawamura forgive and forget later. Just remember this Furuya, Miyuki, I'll never forget the humiliation and the bitterness you make our Eijun feel.
