Fr. Instead of huffing about being a loser compared to the main characters of the story, she can become independent, cool athletic and a genius if she tries hard enough. She’s trying her best at studying, but she keeps going back and forth with the self pitying. she never has a plan of how to flexibly get out of a tough situation. Honestly, if I was in her place: I would have changed schools. People are just targeting her and it’s getting in the way.

Looking at how when she was at her happiest, she was taken back to her world and none of her friends even remembered her should be enough to raise that much self doubt in a person. And she is trying her best to live by "inso's law", so i think its fair for her to feel a bit of insecurity knowing that she'll never be given the level of a happy ending the mcs get. Inso's law would not let her become "independant, cool, athletic". Also about the ruda thing: Say for example, would you go up to a person you think is gay and openly ask them "ARE YOU GAY" before they are ready to come out ? like seriously, the pace of developement is good

side note: I DO NOT support misgendering, but i dont see her openly treating him as a girl either.

you really cant blame her though, because shes always been seen as a leech by peers and even though she knows shes friends with them she cant help but feel like she isnt good enough to hang with them because thats always being reinforced because shes "average" or even below it. it may seem dramatic, but as someone who was is a slightly similar situation, you cant help but compare yourself when you know everyone is doing it to you. i think its important to show this because it shows that even though she has become more confident, like remaining friends with them even in school, she still has moments of self doubt, and thats ok :))

Her character is realistic, I think you’re too used to mangas. I'm insecure and I don’t have perfect friends, I can’t imagine how bad my self worth would be If I were surrounded like 4 heavenly kings. And they’re all quite dense as well. Dan I is a great character, not too weak but also not too strong. She isn’t pitying herself, just has moments when she’s weak but no matter how miserable she feels she still gets up. Don’t you think It’s more incredible then your faves that are cold emotionless robots?
