You can buy something to protect yourself I know it sucks a woman or anyone had to defend themselves from creeps buy you can buy that spray you use to defend or take some sort of self defense. You can also ask someone else to accompany you when you go out, report to the store, just don't be. Shy to ask for help or to find ways to defend urself.

i don't know what i should tell you to make you less uncomfortable because damn, you have every right to be uncomfy in situations like this!!!
but about you being scared of going outside, i recommend you having some pepper spray (on your pocket or bag) when going out!! or simply, any self defense tool, it'd make you feel safer, ya know, better prepared than sorry!
i also recommend talking about the people around you or tell someone when/where you're going, even maybe take someone with you if you can!

tbh confronting him is unrealistic but is the best option, I experience that as well when I was a kid and my 5yrs older "friend" groped my legs before that led me to a trauma, ever since then I never wore shorts so maybe try reading between the lines and find the best option within ur capabilities

buy something to protect yourself. you can also make pepper spray, but adding hot sauce, olive oil, chili pepper, and glitter in, so if he comes near you/tried to touch you, you can spray him. try not going alone out at night, or with someone, andplease stay safe!!
