Just because alex is a good guy that doesnt mean that he has better chemistry with yeonwu or that yeonwu should somehow force feelings for him. The author made the characters that way to make us see how amazingly well is taehwan's character developing. Alex might be an amazing guy but quite boring in front of taehwan who even in bed he is intriguing and interesting. There is a difference between a nice guy and an interesting guy.
